About
From an early age, I knew I wanted to create. If I didn't have a pencil or paintbrush in my hand, I had a camera. Art wasn't something I did, it was a part of me.
When I was around the age of seven, my mom bought me an entire ream of paper all for myself. I'd sit and sketch princesses and dragons for hours and hours. It was my dream to write and sketch a children's book one day that was as vivid and good as the ones I read growing up. I never considered it to be an answer to that age old question, "what do you want to be when you grow up?", it was just something I wanted to do. It wasn't until I went to college, that I discovered how much I enjoyed illustration and wanted it to be apart of my future.
EDUCATION
My ready, set, go mentality propelled me through my education.
When I was sixteen, I attended a technical school that specifically taught me about digital media and how to create with computers as the medium.
During this time, I also took a fast track and enrolled in college classes during my highscool years, allowing me to graduate with an Assosiates in Arts and highschool deploma at the same time.
Afterwards, I attended Central Washington University, where I rediscovered my love for illustration and art. Every assignment was a prompt that ignited creativity and inspired me to grow.
Since then, I have illustrated children books, info-graph posters and logos. I enjoy every minute of the creative process!
